This quaint restaurant is situated on the busy Queen Street in Kensington. Firstly, I heard really good news about the food. Then one day I decided to visit it with a friend. As a result I was finally glad to try out their menu. The place is simply decorated and offers downstairs and upstairs seating. Upon entering, we could smell delicious pastries baking and people chit chatting in Portuguese. We decided to go upstairs for better view.
We got to a table that was not cleaned yet. It seemed that the patrons before us had just left. It was slightly disappointing though. Instantly, we ordered two smoothies to drink as we took our seats.
Menu – Pastelaria Restaurant
The menu is quite extensive. As a result I had difficulties selecting a meal to order. Finally, I decided to order a Prego roll. A Prego roll is served with fried beef cubes, salad and chips. The meal was good though I felt that the beef was a little bland. The fries were amazing and the sauce was good. On the other hand, my friend ordered a steak which comes with a fried egg. The steak was beautiful and well done. Also spiced way better than my beef cubes. This made me a little jealous. In addition, a chilli sauce bottle was on the table as condiment. This blended well with my meal and made it absolutely delicious.
