‘Die Kneipe’ a German phrase which means “The Local Pub”. Firstly, it was opened to the public on the twenty first of January 2000. In addition, it opened its doors under the ownership and management of Urs and Inge. Initially, Inge felt that Kensington needed a local pub where people could relax in a safe and friendly environment. Also enjoying tasty traditional German food, warm hospitality and a cold beer. As a result this child – Die Kneipe was born. Today it has grown to be the most popular pub in Kensington where the best food is served. While at the background you enjoy nice music to compliment an ice cold beer going down your throat.
