Hombaze African cuisine is an African food restaurant that serves dishes from various parts of Africa with a focus on the staple foods of each African country. Our objective is to give common African dishes a fresh and innovative twist. However, we do this keeping the key components African food lovers appreciate. Firstly, this journey started 17 years ago, in the Bridgewater Commons Centre(formerly Randburg Waterfront), in 200.

This was at our Sandton legacy

corner branch where our dream to serve Africans dishes from various parts of Africa was brought to life. Most fine dining restaurants at the time offered fine dining with only dishes that originate from outside Africa. Hence, the dream was to open a restaurant that exclusively serve African dishes from all over Africa. We moved from one restaurant to two restaurants and to 3 restaurants. This happened within a couple of years. Our team works tirelessly everyday to keep the dream alive.
