“As a chiropractor, my care process is geared around improving spinal and postural function, which in turn creates better stimulation and function of the nervous system. This, together with looking at some other lifestyle factors, helps us create a state of health and regeneration for your nervous system and body.”
Your body’s ability to heal itself is immense,
we just have to work to help it express that.
Dr Duane Stewart
Being an extremely active individual myself and having an interest in Sports Chiropractic, I enjoy taking on the challenge in helping both recreational as well as professional sports men and women recover from their injuries, getting them back onto the sporting ‘field’ as soon as possible.
Having said this, Chiropractic has been proven to increase and improve the performance of all active individuals, making Chiropractic an integral part of any training regime, as well as being an important part of the recovery process. Athletes, then, need not to have suffered from injury to benefit from Chiropractic treatment.
Having a multi-disciplinary approach, I work in conjunction with Physiotherapist and Biokineticists (and orthopaedic surgeons if required) to help give the best possible care.
I am currently (and always will be) a member of ChiroSport South Africa, and I have had the privilege of working with international professional athletes on an international and local stage.
