STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Mission Statement AHH Fabulous Care Agency aims to become a healthcare provider of first choice in the South Africa through the provision of highly skilled and experienced care workers to children, adults and the elderly in the comfort of their homes, nursing homes and hospital settings. Objectives Our key objectives in delivering a service are: • To deliver a quality service that promotes and improves quality of life of our clients; • To deliver a service that is tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of each service user; • To respect the service users’ right to individuality, independence, privacy, and dignity; • To uphold the service users right to make informed choices and to take calculated risks without putting themselves or others in danger; • To ensure that each service user’s needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race, ethnicity, politics, sexuality and disability or impairment; • To ensure that our services are managed and developed in accordance with service user needs and preferences; • To work in partnership with service users, carer’s, and all relevant agencies; • To ensure that all staff are competent, responsible and trained to undertake the activities for which they are employed; • To comply with all relevant statutory requirements for the provision of care services. Our service Our services are designed to meet the needs of those who require assistance and or support to continue living in their homes, nursing homes and communities. We offer a client‐centred service that is tailored to meet the individual client’s needs. Our primary user groups are Elderly People; • Children; • People with Dementia; • Adults with Mental Health Problems; • Adults who are Terminally ill; • Adults who are experiencing or recovering from illness; • Adults with sensory impairments; • Adults with Physical Disabilities; • Adults with Learning Disabilities; • Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation Personal care which include o Assisting service users to get up; o Assisting service user to go to bed; o Dressing and undressing; o Assistance with personal hygiene; o Assistance with eating and drinking; o Toileting and continence care; o Moving and handling; Supervision of medication; • Practical care which include o Making or changing beds; o Shopping; o Assisting with laundry; o Preparing meals; o Lighting fires; • Day or night sit in • 24 hour live in care • Respite care service • Hospital discharge service • Medication administration HOSPITALS The nurses we provide for hospitals range from Midwives, Professional Nurses (General), Psychiatric Nurses, Advanced Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Axillary Nurses and care assistants. We proved nurses for • Maternity • Accident and Emergency Unit • Acute settings • General Nursing • Scrubs (Theatre Nurses) • Psychiatric Hospitals • Rehabilitation Hospitals (Drug and Alcohol) Acute care setting nurses we have include but are not limited to: emergency department, intensive care, coronary care, cardiology, neonatal intensive care, and many general areas where the patient could become acutely unwell and require stabilization and transfer to another higher dependency unit for further treatment. We ensure complete compliance with all the regulations set down in the South African Law. Our aim is to meet all the needs of our clients in the most professional and cost effective manner whilst maintaining a high quality service.
